🎯 Our motivationMedia literacy is a basic ability to navigate the complex media landscape of todays information society.
Since the proportion of people who use the Internet to obtain information in their everyday lives is constantly increasing, it is a major social challenge to be able to clearly assess the trustworthiness of individual sources.That is why the quiz app QuellenReiter:in is intended to promote news skills in civil society in a targeted and freely accessible manner.
Users should first evaluate real, documented news and camouflaged disinformation and then compare them using sources and fact checks.
This is how users learn to expose fake news and get an overview of the German media landscape.QUELLENRITER:IN - THE FAKE NEWS QUIZ is a project by Jannik Werner and Simon Sasse.
